BBVA Compass Launches New Website Address Signage Rebrand to BBVA Compass Completed

Effective immediately, online visitors to will be redirected to "". The change reflects efforts to bring all communication and marketing tools under the new BBVA Compass brand.

Customers were notified of the new web address through special ads and messages on the Web site, CompassPC(R) and other various communication channels. In addition, BBVA Compass employee e-mail addresses will also be updated to include "".

"The transition to the new email and Web addresses will be seamless for our customers," said Charles Bretz , EVP, Director of Internet Banking. "We do ask that customers and prospects be aware of "phishing", but we can assure them that both the new and old Web addresses take them to the BBVA Compass Web site."

Also important to note is that while the Web address of the main site is changing, online services and other sites will remain the same. For example, the Web addresses for CompassPC(R) online banking, Compass BusinessClass Online(R) and Compass e-Access(R) will not change. Further, any bookmarks, favorites or shortcuts individuals have set up will continue to work.

BBVA Compass introduced its new brand in November 2008 and along with the newly implemented web address change, has thus far rebranded the look and feel of the Web site, credit and check cards, as well as the signage of BBVA Compass' 578 bank branches and 734 ATMs across the Sunbelt region. In addition, BBVA Compass will launch a new advertising campaign in three weeks time. The new campaign will serve to solidify BBVA Compass' position of strength in the markets in which it operates across the Sunbelt, as well as differentiate BBVA Compass from competitors.
